Thank you so much for visiting my blog! Things have been heating up with my Instagram page (@lovegfreelife) and I wanted to branch out to a traditional blog. I will give more detailed instructions on my recipes and be able to have open conversations with the challenges of having Celiac Disease and other Autoimmune Diseases.
When I was diagnosed with Celiac Disease five years ago, I have to be honest, I did not know what that meant. I thought, “Okay, I don’t have to eat gluten”. It is much more detailed than that. I would occasionally have gluten (purposely!); if it was a holiday, something I wanted to eat, or happy hour with friends. It wasn’t until I started to have more health complications that I realized maybe there is more to the Disease. I started to do a lot of research and saw a lot of my random conditions all had one thing in common, Celiac Disease. I have been on a dedicated gluten free lifestyle (I will never use the word diet) for over a year now. I am happy to report that the Celiac Disease damage within my body is healing but I still struggle with other complications. I learn more about my Diseases everyday and want to share my story. I hope my blog will help you whether you have Celiac Disease, Autoimmune Diseases, or need to maintain a gluten free lifestyle. That is my goal. Remember, we are all in this together!
